10 Video Games That Let You Kill God
6. Super Smash Bros. Series (1999-)
It's quite surprising that a fighting game series with no real story most of the time has as many recurring enemies as it does. And while there are a fair few villainous characters of the Smash Bros. series that would qualify for this list, none have been a more mysterious and prolific threat than the Master Hand.
The name says it all, for the Master Hand is literally just a disembodied right hand wearing a white glove.
You never really find anything out about this being, save from the fact it created the world in which these games exist, which is what makes its sheer power so intriguing. There does exist a left-hand counterpart named Crazy Hand who's introduced in Super Smash Bros. Melee, but it's pretty clear just which of these maniacal mitts is in charge here.
In all of its appearances, the Master Hand hovers in the corner of the arena, where it can launch punches, slam down from above, and shoot deadly beams of energy from its fingertips.
It takes a good degree of skill to dodge these attacks, let alone deal some of your own, but when you finally best this enigmatic body part, you'll feel like a true legend.
