10 Video Games That Only Got Started At The End
7. Summon Eleanor - BioShock 2
Much like Gears 4, BioShock 2 is a mechanically adequate yet totally uninspired sequel which more or less feels like a rehash of its predecessor rushed out for some easy money.
It doesn't help at all that the roughly 10-hour experience only truly gets going in its penultimate level, Outer Persephone, when the player is finally given access to the last plasmid.
This plasmid allows players to summon Big Sister Eleanor, one of the most powerful entities in Rapture, whose abilities include telekinesis, fireballs, and teleportation. Oh, and she's invincible and can be summoned as much as you like. Yup.
As such, the final hour of BioShock 2 is an absolute blast, with players able to unleash an effortlessly deadly reckoning upon their adversaries.
Had players been given access to Eleanor's summon earlier on, perhaps the rest of it wouldn't have been quite so underwhelming.
