10 Video Games That Prove 2010 Was The Best Year Ever

4. Fallout: New Vegas

Yep, 2010 was that good that Fallout: New Vegas doesn't even get a medal. Like Newcastle United during the Kevin Keegan years, this game was packed full of everything the fans love and is absolutely bizarre in places, but unfortunately comes away from this list winning absolutely nothing.

Fallout 76 might not be setting the world alight, but the main series is one of the most revered and critically acclaimed in modern gaming. However, for a decent chunk of the playing populous, this spin off is their best outing.

The skill system was sleeker than in 3, and giving out less power ups forced you to make choices on where to assign your resources, making the role play part of the RPG come to life much more. Companions were so much easier to work with too, and combat was cleaner and less fiddly, cutting down on the minor annoyances that dogged its predecessor.

It's a Bethesda title, so there's probably not much point going on about the bugs; they're part and parcel of the experience these days and there was nothing gamebreaking enough to count against it.
