10 Video Games That Prove The PS Vita Is Infinitely Better Than You Think
2. Gravity Rush
Whilst Gravity rush has been re-released on the PS4, it was originally intended for the PS Vita and still plays as good as new.
You play Kat, a lost girl with no memories. You spend the start of the game wandering around trying to find any clue of your past, but quickly find yourself helping out around the city, defeating monsters and almost becoming a sort of superhero. There are gravity powers, as you might imagine. Up and down quickly lose all meaning when you can move and float in any direction and walk on any surface.
Combat is intuitive and feels natural given the powers at hand. You could easily look at a maneuver and know how to perform it. It also runs really well. The vita was a console designed to outperform other handhelds, and Gravity Rush really makes use of the consoles power with quality visuals.
