10 Video Games That Prove The Wii U Is Far From Doomed
7. Bayonetta 2
The sequel to one of the best hack 'n slash games of its generation is exclusive to Wii U. In fact, there probably wouldn't be a second Bayonetta at all if Nintendo hadn't stepped in to fund it. It's a strange move considering their family-friendly image, but we're glad that the big N realised that Wii U's game library wouldn't be complete without at least one game starring everyone's favourite scantily clad witch. Bayonetta 2 sports some of the best graphics on the system, making the frenetic action a true sight to behold. In just the prologue of the game, Bayonetta fights enemies on top of a plane as it flies through a city and then does battle with a massive enemy on top of a building in a rather bizarre spoof of King Kong. Platinum's games do have their flaws, but being boring has never been one of them. Bayonetta 2 is just the kind of polished, high-budget title that Wii U needs. Its imminent release represents the start of a steady stream of quality releases for Wii U.
