10 Video Games That Reward You For Killing NPCs
8. Trover Saves The Universe - Worst Guest Ever
There aren't enough hours in the day to try and pin down what kind of game Trover Saves the Universe is. It's a... second person, fourth wall-breaking affair from the minds of Rick and Morty. Extrapolate from that what you will.
In this unconventional game, the Chairoprian-controlled Trover sets out to save the world from the dog-stealing Glorkon (told you, it's weird). It's an odd twist on the gameplay formula, but for the most part, Trover is an unwitting hero.
As such, it's not in his nature to kill NPC's, nor is it really an objective of the game. But for all you trophy/achievement hunters out there, there's always an incentive.
There's one for just killing an NPC (and that happens in the story anyway), easy win. But for the Platinum-powered psychopath, Trover has to kill them all.
Thankfully, there isn't many. With less than a dozen to bump off, this isn't a massively time consuming challenge.
When it is done, though, players will have that title on their gamercards. As well as a little trophy message reminding them of their evil ways.
Result.
