10 Video Games That Should Have Ended Differently

7. Dead Rising - We Should've Seen Frank & Isabella Break The Case

It's easy to forget just how little Frank West does in Dead Rising. Yes, he's the protagonist and Willamette Mall would be a few thousand more zombies strong if he hadn't discovered how to brandish chainsaws and katanas like there was no tomorrow. But come the close of the game, his on-screen journey ends with a duel against one Brock Mason - a chap who has nothing to do with the machinations of the virus itself.

Even in the True Ending, that's left to some plain white text on a black background, describing how Frank and Isabella managed to break the case surrounding Carlito's unleashing of Dr. Barnaby's zombie-sprouting disease.

Therefore, the fix is simple: Just show this happening.

Despite the game having a handful of different endings, the majority end with Frank escaping in one piece, or a slow zoom-out of the surrounding chaos. Give us a montage scene of Carlito being arrested and Willamette Mall perhaps reopening, as Frank narrates one of the most messed up stories of his life.

Simple, and they were already so close.
