10 Video Games That Surprisingly No-Showed E3 2021

Senua's Saga: Hellblade II was first revealed in December 2019 at The Game Awards with an unforgettable, allegedly in-engine cinematic trailer.

Since then, however, word's been rather quiet on the much-hyped sequel, such that a more expansive gameplay reveal seemed like a sure thing for Microsoft and Bethesda's E3 showcase this year.

The show may have been jam-packed with games, but Hellblade II sadly wasn't one of them, leaving fans readily speculating on the state of the sequel.

If insider scuttlebutt can be believed, the game may have no-showed E3 because it's still in a relatively early stage of development and isn't expected to release until as late as 2023.

In which case, there's probably a fair argument to be made that Hellblade II was announced a little too early. It may have made more sense to reveal it at this year's E3 so fans aren't waiting a potential four years between the trailer and game itself.
