10 Video Games That Surprisingly No-Showed E3 2021
5. Skull & Bones
Can you believe it's been an entire four years since Ubisoft first revealed their pirate-themed open-world multiplayer game Skull & Bones? Ubisoft even showed off a ton of extremely polished gameplay footage at E3 2018, and yet, it still hasn't come out.
Development has been surprisingly troubled, though, with the game receiving numerous release delays past its initial "late 2018" date.
Last September, it was revealed that Skull & Bones' vision had received a significant overhaul, explaining the egregious delays.
Last month, Ubisoft announced that it had been delayed to the April 2022-March 2023 fiscal year, which alone prompted many to suspect that the publisher might be gearing up to reintroduce the game to players ahead of a 2022 bow.
But it sadly pulled yet another no-show, leaving those tantalised by the initial gameplay footage to wonder quite what the game is looking like these days.
