10 Video Games That Take Multiple Playthroughs For The TRUE EXPERIENCE

Bethesda

Starfield may be one of 2023's most polarising games to date, but Bethesda deserves a measure of credit for coming up with a New Game Plus which ties directly into the story itself in an amusingly meta way.

At the end of the game, players are given a choice - to continue exploring the universe, or become a Starborn, leaving their universe behind forever and entering another one, allowing them to basically restart the game in a parallel universe.

Those who become a Starborn will retain their level, powers, and skills, but items, side mission progress, and character relationships will all be wiped, giving you the opportunity to approach the game from a whole new perspective.

These universes also include intriguing variations on your original run, such as allowing your to recruit yourself as a companion and replacing the members of Constellation with children, ensuring that you're not really seeing the full extent of Bethesda's vision if you just quit after a single playthrough.
