10 Video Games That Take Multiple Playthroughs For The TRUE EXPERIENCE

2. Dishonored 2

About a month after Dishonored 2 hit stores, Bethesda put out a New Game Plus update which offered the unequivocally definitive iteration of the game.

Your first run through Dishonored 2 forces you to choose between two characters - either Empress Emily Kaldwin or her father (and protagonist of the original game) Corvo Attano, meaning that you're locked out of accessing the other player's bespoke powers.

But New Game Plus goes absolutely hog wild by not only carrying over your bonecharm traits, runes, and blueprints, but also allowing you access to all of both Emily and Corvo's powers, no matter which of the two characters you decide to play as.

Unsurprisingly this absolutely rips, granting players an almost overwhelming array of options as it pertains to both combat and stealth.

Once you've had a taste of New Game Plus and all it has to offer, it's honestly tough to even consider going back to the restrictive "vanilla" iteration. This is the game.
