Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil is a platform game developed and published by Namco. Following the story of the original, Klonoa: Door to Phantomile, Klonoa is a simple platformer that was commended by critics in 2001. The game consists of four kingdoms and the player must help an unknown silhouette save the world of Lunatea.
Klonoa 2 is not just a simple side-scroller and uses corkscrews of interesting platforms intertwined by dream-like enemies. Recently Nintendo have announced they will be releasing both games in the series, remastered on the Switch and we can’t wait to revisit this masterpiece.
If any game deserves a remaster it’s this one. This 2.5D platformer is truly a magical experience - the level design, the music, the characters. Whether you had any attachment to this title in the past, I urge you to experience the Klonoa series first hand.
