10 Video Games That Totally Ruined Gaming For Everyone

10. Skyrim

Although there's another fantasy-tinge title with a storied legacy so steeped in culture it became the subject of an entire South Park episode (World of Warcraft, quiz-happy chappies), MMORPGs just aren't for everyone. So enter Skyrim; the daylight hour-sucking magnum opus of fantasy game design that to this day is still being played to the tune of thousands of collective hours every day. Why? Because the coding wizards over at Bethesda are geniuses in design of all kinds, padding out both the land of Skyrim and overall lore of Tamriel in a way that genuinely makes you feel like you can step into that world and experience every single facet of culture therein. It's so rewarding and epic in its scope that just a few months ago more mods were released by those who continue to update it whilst Bethesda are (hopefully) hard at work on Fallout 4, and for everyone who's done anything from slay their first dragon to exploring some cavernous dungeons and reaping the spoils within; fantasy gaming was never the same again.
