Average Play Length: 6 hours, 34 minutes

Ryse: Son of Rome was released as a launch title for the Xbox One in 2013. The graphics are exceptional and the detail of the era is represented well as the player takes on the story of Marius Titus after he witnesses the murder of his family at the hands of barbarians.
As an adventure game, most players would assume they'd be sitting down for a good 20 hours or more to complete everything, but according to HowLongToBeat.com, the average time needed to beat the main story is just six and a half hours. Going through all of the extras will take just under nine hours, so there is some game time there, but not what is expected from a launch title for a new system.
