10 Video Games That Were Too Damn Short
10. The Bourne Conspiracy
Now, this is a bit of a weird one. Believe it or not, I bloody loved The Bourne Conspiracy, a game a bunch of people reading this probably didn't even know existed. It was a flawed-if-ambitious adaptation, but its biggest crime is that it was over in six hours, and cuts to black just as things start getting really good.
An underrated gem from High Moon Studios (who know a thing or two about crafting great games), the licensed tie-in blended solid third-person shooting with intense hand-to-hand combat seamlessly, bringing to life the grit of Robert Ludlum's world.
Sadly, poor sales and a middling critical reception meant a sequel would never materialise, which is a huge shame, because Conspiracy cemented a solid base for a franchise going forward. Who knows, if Matt Damon lent his likeness to the main character, maybe it would have gained a bigger audience. That's right, I'm blaming Matt Damon for this underperforming, and you should too.
