10 Video Games That Weren't As Good As You Remember

1. Wii Sports

Wii Sports was the perfect launch title for the Nintendo Wii. It successfully blended the unique features of the Wii, with a fun and oh-so-simple multiplayer sports game. It entertained and unlike many video games, it brought everyone, both gamers and non-gamers alike, together in a celebration of glorious gaming fun. Lovely. But not anymore.

Today, Wii Sports serves one purpose - to be dragged out and played on Christmas Day with the family. Yes, Wii Sports has essentially become the modern day Trivial Pursuit and you now hate it. It's probably because your 80 year old grandmother is able to hit more home-runs than you in baseball, whilst you somehow manage to foul every damn ball thrown at you.

So, for all those difficult Christmas Day sessions, for all those painful family arguments and for all those Wii controller-inflicted broken TV's, Wii Sports is the ultimate game that is best left alone in your rose-tinted memory banks.
