As a kid, did you ever dream of playing in a rock band, thrashing your guitar to thousands upon thousands of adoring fans? Probably, right? But as a kid did you ever dream of pushing buttons on a plastic guitar in time with Lenny Kravitz songs, in front of a living room of slightly bored looking friends?

No. Because no sane person would want that, or be able to derive any kind of enjoyment or pleasure from such an experience.

That was Guitar Hero and don't mis-rememember it any differently, because it was exactly like that. Every. Single. Time.
