Telltale's The Walking Dead rivals the hit TV show in terms of the emotional damage it does to anyone who plays through it.

Your character, Lee, is tasked with protecting the infinitely likable and charming young Clementine from not only a variety of human villains but the hordes of the undead that now rule the land.

Over five episodes, we see Lee push himself to the limit and make a variety of tough choices. It will test just how much tension your heart can take until you reach the end of his journey. Then after all your efforts, Lee is still bitten and there is nothing the player can do to stop his slow demise except watch.

You can even chop off his arm in a vain hope it will save him, but in the end, Lee will end up either turning into one of the reanimated corpses or being put down by poor Clementine with a bullet to the brain.

And that's how the first game ends, Lee is killed and Clem' is left alone in the violent apocalypse to fend for herself.

This is truly a world where the Zombies rule.
