10 Video Games Where You Should IGNORE The Main Story

1. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided was released in 2016 following the success of Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

The game has a solid cyberpunk story, once again following Adam Jensen as he traverses an era of "mechanical apartheid", in which "augmented" people (those with artifical organs) are segregated from "normal" humans.

The game follows Jensen's attempts to work as a double agent for the Juggernaut Collective - which coincidentally was the first name pitched for Weight Watchers (it was rejected, obviously).

Arguably much more exciting than the game's main story was Breach, a challenge mode set in cyberspace. In Breach, the player controls a hacker infiltrating a bank to retrieve data before escaping within a set time limit. It's simple on the surface, but it's intuitive and addicting, and the online leaderboards add a competitive tinge to proceedings which serve to spice it up a little.

There's a lot more to do in Mankind Divided other than be a Slimming World spy, with a wealth of side quests and customisation options for Jensen's augmentations.
