Assassin's Creed: Origins saw the franchise re-imagined and reworked, and it did so with a sleek look and fresh gameplay.

Set in Ancient Egypt, Assassin's Creed: Origins offers so much more than just an exploration of the beginning of the war between the Assassins and the Templars.

Like with other Assassin's Creed titles, there are things to find and collect, side quests to complete, and equipment to unlock. But Origins finds way to make it all seem new again, and after a decade of remarkably similar Assassin's Creed titles, players were able to rekindle their love for the series.

A highlight of Origins' side quests was The Papyrus Mysteries, which consisted of finding papyrus scrolls hidden among Egypt's landscape, each one with clues about a hidden item and its location. They're well hidden and often lead to incredible views and well-crafted puzzles.

As with any large game, everyone has their preference as to what they enjoy doing, but Assassin's Creed: Origins just ticked the boxes that previous installments in the series had fallen a little short of.
