10 Video Games Whose BEST Versions Are On Switch

7. Diablo III

Devil May Cry 3
Nintendo/Blizzard

Based purely on the name, you know a game called Diablo isn't going to be kid-friendly. That's why it sounded crazy when the third entry in the hellish franchise was announced for the Switch in 2018. Furthermore, the port was of the Eternal Collection version, meaning consumers received all the extra goodies from the get-go.

Since Blizzard's latest entry in the franchise has A LOT of content to cram into a teeny-weeny Switch cartridge, fans were expecting a graphical scale-back. But the port suffered no technical shortcomings. The Switch's Diablo III maintains a constant 60fps whether docked or handheld.

One advantage of the Switch is how a single Joy-Con can be split so two players can play. Although this works well for games like Smash Bros Ultimate or Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, you would assume it wouldn't be suitable for something like Diablo III. But despite the Joy-Con's lack of buttons, the gameplay isn't impaired at all, even with half a controller!

Not only that, the Switch version chucked in a few Legend of Zelda exclusives and Amiibo support, which die-hard Nintendo fans appreciated.
