10 Video Games That Will Be Released Annually Until The End Of Time

2. Fifa

For the longest time, Pro Evolution Soccer was king of the football games. Fifa held all the licenses but Pro Evo ruled where it mattered most - fun. However, no king reigns forever. Pro Evo simply did not adapt to the next generation of consoles (the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3) and Fifa took control - the 2009 edition might still be the finest football game ever seen. Ever since then, new ideas like Ultimate Team and Pro Clubs have seen Fifa's popularity skyrocket. In fact, Ultimate Team has now become the focus of Fifa - staples like Career Mode and Online Seasons have been left by the wayside a bit. That might annoy long-term fans but the majority are happy to allow Ultimate Team to dominate their lives year after year; the addictive nature of the mode makes it hard to see that dominance letting up anytime soon. Fifa may not have made any real advancements over the past few years (the annual tweaks to gameplay simply alter that year's experience) but it's still a must-have for many people. No king reigns forever but it's very difficult to foresee anybody knocking Fifa off it's throne.

I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
