10 Video Games That Will Be Released Annually Until The End Of Time

9. Any Of Telltale's Game Series'

Telltale Games are one of the hottest development studios in gaming right now and for good reason. Games based on existing films and TV shows are nearly all total garbage - somehow, Telltale have bucked the trend and manage to turn big licenses into great gaming experiences. They have been at it for ages (with the likes of Back To The Future, Jurassic Park and Tales Of Monkey Island) but it was The Walking Dead that really set things into motion. The focus on player choices and a hugely emotive narrative helped draw people in, keeping them coming back for the following episodes. Since then, Telltale have also picked up licenses for the Fables series (a comic book series published by DC), the Borderlands series and, most prominently of all, the Game Of Thrones series. Interestingly, Telltale delivers these games in a manner which apes the typical delivery of television shows. Each game is released episodically (with five episodes making up a season, six in GoT's case), extending their lifespan while also, surprisingly, keeping each series consistently entertaining. In theory, this practice could continue for some time. If each game extends into multiple seasons, Telltale could easily be releasing a complete season of one or more games every year. If the games continue to be this excellent, few will be arguing with that.

I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
