10 Video Games You Didn't Know Were Hidden In Other Games

9. Tekken - Galaga

Popping arcade classic Galaga in to liven up the loading screen for Tekken on the original PlayStation was a little touch of genius from Namco. Granted, it wasn't hidden as such, but it was a bloody good idea - Galaga was a Namco title anyway, so why not give us something to do while waiting for the action to start? This is the sort of thing that developers should keep in mind, as it can't be all that hard to implement but does wonders to take the sting out of long loading times or game installations. Remember, in the early days of the fifth console generation load times where something to moan about far more than they are today. A game like Tekken would be ready to go in a matter of seconds on today's hardware. But to get all the gears turning inside that old PlayStation took time. A quick blast on one of Namco's most renowned shooters melted those moments away. Also, this load screen mini-game was your ticket to unlocking Devil Kazuya within the game itself - even more reason to play!
