10 Video Games You Should Play (Even Though They Suck)

6. Resident Evil 6

Capcom

Even though Resident Evil redefined the survival horror genre, the sixth entry did away with scares to focus more on action. Because of this, Resident Evil 6 felt like a bland action title, with little resemblance to its roots. Although the follow-ups helped get Capcom's horror franchise out of the funk, RE6 is still the black sheep of the beloved zombie saga.

Despite the fact the tone is all over the place, most of RE6's key components are better than ever. The graphics are phenomenal. The controls are fluid. Unlike the previous two entries, the AI doesn't try and get you killed every 30 seconds.

Yes, the story and dialogue is rubbish, but Resident Evil has never been renowned for its plot. The cover system is a weak addition, but that's not enough to sink the game.

Even though fans of the series are familiar with Lickers, Crimson Heads, and Hunters, most gamers haven't heard of Resident Evil 6's Ustanak, HAOS, or Lepotica, despite their creative and terrifying designs. Do you know why people haven't heard of them? Because nobody bothered to play this damn game!!

RE6 is definitely a misstep but that's not enough to write it off entirely. For all its faults, it's still way better than the 40 spin-offs Resident Evil has spawned.
