10 Video Games You’ll Still Be Playing Long Into 2015

8. Football Manager 2015

Jay from The Inbetweeners once remarked that he'd finished Football Manager - impossible, of course. Besides, why would anybody want to? A Football Manager game provides an unbelievable range of challenges and goals for the average player, thanks to an in depth database and tactic system. Crafting a tactic that is both unique and successful is an unbelievably satisfying task. Plus, this is the sort of game where players make their own fun. Messing about with the database and assigning superstars like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to a preferred team is always an entertaining way to break the game. Forging a legacy and embarking on a lengthy career will appease some but others (the more sadistic people out there) would rather take non-league sides on an arduous journey into the Premier League and beyond - Football Manager inspires those sorts of stories on a daily basis. Yes, it's slightly nerdy and stat-heavy but, just like a good RPG, it's mightily addictive too. There are people out there who will be playing Football Manager until 2016 is out next year.

I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
