10 Video Games You’ll Still Be Playing Long Into 2015

4. World Of Warcraft: Warlords Of Draenor

Some might still be pining for the good ol' days of World of Warcraft (aka the original 'vanilla' experience) but Warlords Of Draenor has enough in the bag to convince those who think the game's best days are behind it. The inclusion of the Garrison system is intriguing; it takes the idea of player housing and expands it, giving characters a bigger role within the expansion's narrative. The game genuinely makes the player feel unique and vital; a tough trick to pull for an MMO. The alternate universe style narrative (it's set in a historical version of Draenor gone wrong) is incredibly interesting and exploring Draenor as it originally was is particularly gratifying for those who fully explored Outland in The Burning Crusade. Of course, Warlords Of Draenor comes with a ton of content to enjoy: countless quests, a number of new dungeons and heroics and a couple of raids which are beginning to open to players. With systems like Dungeon Finder and Looking For Raid fully in place, solo players can easily see everything the game has to offer. Many may choose to steer clear of this expansion to prevent old addictions resurfacing and perhaps with good reason; Warlords Of Draenor will definitely get it's hooks into people.

I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
