One particularly memorable section had you infiltrating a Nazi headquarters as an undercover agent, having to memorise your fake credentials and bluff your way through until you found your contact.
In a day and age where Bethesda and even DICE are creating interesting first-person shooter levels that don't rely purely on gunplay and explosive set-pieces to be interesting, Call of Duty could benefit from leaning on more imaginative sequences like this if it wants to stay relevant.
Treyarch always have a focus on story and characters, and putting these strengths to good use to create dynamic new gameplay ideas rather than expressing everything through shooting could make for an instantly memorable single-player experience.
