10 Ways Diablo 4 Is Insulting Players

7. Unbalanced Classes

In what has long proven to be a recurring issue throughout the series, Diablo IV's unbalanced classes can lead to an imbalance in gameplay.

When the betas of the game first dropped earlier this year, it quickly became clear that certain classes were nerfed when it comes to effective offence. For players looking to branch out and embrace some of the more niche classes on offer, such an issue can lead to a considerably more difficult gaming experience, even with worthwhile armour and weaponry.

From Diablo to Diablo III, the class imbalance situation saw gradual improvement. However, with Diablo IV, it appears Blizzard Entertainment have gone back to a more hit-and-miss structure, with gamers almost playing Russian roulette with the class they select. This can prove to be a key pitfall as it renders the game either too difficult or - if this is even possible for a Diablo game - too easy.

For online and multiplayer, this can prove especially problematic as players inevitably flock towards the overpowered classes. While achieving a complete balance among the classes would be a tall order, it appears the series has actually taken a step backwards with its new entry, potentially hindering overall player satisfaction in the process.
