10 Ways Diablo 4 Is Insulting Players
6. Clocks And Timers
Every six hours, Diablo IV players get the chance to tackle one of the game's many challenging bosses.
There's just one problem, the countdown for boss availability isn't actually available within the game until a maximum of 30 minutes before spawn time. Needless to say, most players are missing out, with the clock requiring a third party website to full keep track of throughout the day. While minor at a glance, the need for an additional website is a needless awkward obstacle that has infuriated players, with many voicing their displeasure on social media.
The countdown issue doesn't just stop at bosses, however, as the Helltides timer is run with the exact same format. Once players reach the World Tier 3 level of difficulty, these demonic epics become available, and serve as one of the few engaging pieces of endgame content on offer. However, the poor communication has left a lot of players left outside due to bad timing.
In both cases, it should be incredibly easy for Blizzard Entertainment to add a general, 24/7 clock for players to keep track of both exciting events more easily. For now, however, the more fiddly option of taking to the web for the key info remains the norm.
