10 Ways EA Can Vastly Improve FIFA’s Career Mode
3. A Season-To-Season Kit Editor
This one would be tricky.
EA spend an awful lot of money to ensure that top sides like Juventus, Man Utd and Bayern Munich strut out onto the pitch in official gear. It'd be risky then to tell those key assets that you plan on letting gamers change their designs and sponsors at will. Risky, sure, though not too absurd.
FIFA fans would be happy if they had an unlicensed third or fourth strip to muck around with and sell to in-game punters each summer. As for the official stuff, EA may be able to agree on a few (probably limited) alternate design choices with the big teams. That'd keep everyone happy, and give fans a bit more freedom.
It'd likely extend only to Juve's black and white stripes being thinner or thicker, but it's something. Seeing the legendary Italian outfit wear season 2018-2019's shirt in 2025 is a little bit far-fetched. Football is a commercial business, and it's in a club's interest to offer new products.
