10 Ways Red Dead Redemption 2 Can Build On GTA V's Best Features
5. Astounding A.I
The Artificial Intelligence in GTA has always been fascinating, and has consistently improved after each instalment. GTA V in particular is such a marvel, it has recently been used to teach AI how to drive (yes, really).
Over time, this has developed to a point where there are pockets of characters that perform certain tasks in the environment that a player may never stumble across. Dynamic street races, congregations of tramps underneath a pier, lazing beachgoers populating the beaches or tourists in the city - all make it feel like a living breathing world.
In Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar can build upon this to make the Old West feel a lot less bare than the original. As seen in the trailer we have wildlife and small settlements that are bustling with trade, which is a promising glimpse of what's to come.
Hopefully, we can see bandit raiding gangs that you can stumble across, as well as Mexican standoffs and casino's/taverns that feel densely populated with characters of all different personalities.
