The Grand Theft Auto series has often been praised for its immensely satisfying gunplay, featuring an arsenal of unique weapons that diversify the combat. Red Dead Redemption used this framework to really nail the feeling of heavy Western firearms, but with the improvements seen in Grand Theft Auto V, there is definitely room for growth.
Michael's special ability to slow down time and shoot was great, but it felt lacklustre in comparison to the incredibly fun Dead Eye Targeting seen in Red Dead Redemption.
With a new, more expanded set of weapons, this concept could easily be built upon and made even more satisfying than its predecessor.
