10 Ways Rocksteady Could Make The Perfect Superman Video Game
1. A Villain With A Personal Motivation
By far the most boring way Rocksteady could go would be to throw the superhero into yet another world-ending crisis.
That's not to say there shouldn't be huge stakes at play, but if the villain's only goal is to either kill Superman or to destroy the entire world then there won't be anything to separate it from the camp of a Saturday morning cartoon.
The only way to make a great Superman game is to humanise his larger than life world and make it relatable to the player, meaning the villain needs to have a motivation that extends beyond wanting 'moar power!!1'.
That means treating the title's over-the-top cast of gods amongst men like real people who have goals and motivations that fans can identify with, rather super-powered caricatures with the complexity of a cardboard cut-out.
