10 Ways Sony Could Ruin The PS5

10. PS Now Lagging Behind Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate
Microsoft

Sony have done a great job with PS Now since it launched a few years ago. What was initially an over-priced, unreliable streaming service has been transformed into a genuinely compelling addition to the Playstation family.

The price is now affordable, clocking in at around the same cost of a new game for a full year's subscription, while the streaming tech makes playing games way sturdier, and the library of over 800 titles is pretty astonishing.

The problem is that despite these improvements, it still pales in comparison to Xbox Game Pass. Sure, that service might not boast as many titles, but it swaps quantity for quality. All Xbox exclusives are available day-one at no additional charge, you can download and play all the titles remotely, and even recent third-party games that are only months old can be played via the service.

That's not to mention the price either. The cost of Ultimate - the highest tier - is $14.99, and that includes Xbox Live Gold. On the inverse, PS Now does not roll in PS Plus.

Now is a good service, but Sony has a long way to go if it wants to directly compete with Xbox's killer app.
