10 Ways To Make Sure The Call Of Duty Movie Doesn't Suck

1. Make Sure To Adapt The Iconic Moments

Call Of Duty is a series overloaded with memorable scenes and set-pieces that are ripe for the plucking in a potential movie. Maybe the most famous would be the nuclear explosion in the first Modern Warfare game, where the player character witnesses a shocking nuclear blast that destroys a city and eventually kills them too. It was a ballsy moment in a game loaded with them and announced to the player that even they weren€™t safe. There was also Captain Price€™s flashback mission to Chernobyl - combining sweaty stealth sections with intense gunfights - which are two levels that became fan favourites. But there€™s an embarrassment of choices; retaking the White House, General Shepherd€™s betrayal, escaping the sinking ship or a gunfight in zero gravity. And there€™s even that sweet moment where you plant a knife right between Shepherd€™s eyes. These are the moments the fans love and Activision would do well do translate them into a movie. They should probably avoid the airport massacre scene though - that€™s a controversy they could do without. How do you feel about the news of a Call Of Duty movie? What would you like to see in it? Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
