3. Multiplayer Is NOT Necessary
Some of the video gaming community, myself included, have never really enjoyed online multiplayer all that much. It's been said that the modes' inclusions can't be taken back, but that doesn't mean every developer should crowbar in a competitive online component. Enough is enough.
The Old Republic was a shining example of how enforced multiplayer features can ruin a series of games. It's nice to indulge in video games with your friends, or people from around the globe, but it's definitely something for the FIFA and Call of Duty gamers among us - Star Wars quite often doesn't need multiplayer.
Imagine the squabbling if A New Hope were to be recreated for the modern generation of consoles - could you really accept playing as Leia when you wanted to be Han Solo? Even creating characters takes forever, and would cause more arguments than enjoyment.
A co-operative experience would be acceptable, but the multiplayer age isn't right for Star Wars yet - Battlefront proved this, and DICE have much to do if they're to impress us with the sequel.
