10 Ways To Save The Nintendo Switch

2. Clarify The Storage Problem

As we've become eminently aware with both the Xbox One and PS4, all-digital storage solutions for an entire game collection doesn't allow for very many games to exist at once. Sony and Microsoft have doubled and tripled their initial launch models to allow for 1TB hard drives, but what are Nintendo going to launch with?

32GB.

Thirty two.

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's is 13.4GB - a relatively small install size, were it on another console - will take up half of your entire system storage on the Switch, and that's a freakin' launch game.

Now, a workaround is that many games can have substantial parts of their files stored and loaded entirely on the Switch's new cartridges, as that also eliminates loading and any installation times. It's a potential silver lining that could remedy all of this - I mean, just imagine no more installations or loading screens, as well as leaving all that 32GB for saves and other downloadable titles - but as yet, we're left wondering why the hell a system with a digital storefront could only hold two games.
