10 Weird And Awesome Video Game Hallucination Scenes
7. F.E.A.R
F.E.A.R makes no secret of being based on traditional Japanese horror, and it works incredibly well. Kids should be cute, not creepy. Alma really does bring creepy kids to a whole new level too. The lead designer of F.E.A.R was also quoted as saying ""a guy in a mask chasing co-eds with a meat cleaver can be scary, but on some level you're thinking to yourself you could probably kick his ass if you got the drop on him... but when a spooky little girl takes out an entire Delta Force squad, how are you supposed to deal with that?" During the course of the game Alma makes the player hallucinate which can potentially be life threatening when experienced, which heightens the fear you experience throughout the game. It also really puts you off having kids in later life. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=963sfRhoITQ
