10 Worst Celebrity Video Game Performances

7. Michael Biehn – Aliens: Colonial Marines

Ghostbusters Bill Murray

The return of Michael Biehn as Hicks in Aliens: Colonial Marines should have been a joyous day for fans, but there were a couple of problems. One, Hicks was quite definitively killed in Alien 3, and the game’s explanation of his survival was less than convincing. Secondly, Biehn sounded positively sleepy throughout, coming across like a man who realised his involvement with the project was a terrible mistake.

Biehn later explained he was initially excited to come back to the part, but he was bummed out by the sheer lack of passion coming from the people directing his voice-over sessions, which he feels affected the end result.

To be fair, his performance was far from the worst part of the game, but it did serve as a reminder of how shoddy the whole thing was. Biehn later gave a great turn in Far Cry: Blood Dragon, a neon-drenched tribute to the action films of the eighties.

Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
