10 Worst Games Of 2018 (So Far)

1. Super Seducer

Super Seducer is a game so staggeringly terrible and flat-out ill-conceived that it almost loops around to become good again. If any video game were comparable to Tommy Wiseau's cult disasterpiece movie The Room, it would surely be this.

When you see a game like this floating around on Steam, you first have to check whether or not it's in on the joke. After all, we live in a world where intentionally naff games like Goat Simulator have proven knowing and charming enough to win themselves legions of loyal fans.

You see, Super Seducer isn't a self-aware stab at the ickiness of pick-up artistry, but an earnest self-help tool intended to educate feckless men on how to bother attractive women through a series of mild, low-quality video puzzle scenarios.

There is amusement to be had, for sure: the roughshod production and atrocious acting rouse some giggles, but more often than not it's tough to realise who this really exists for. There's no satire that would make it worthwhile for those with sexual experience, while the romantically timid should probably steer clear of the howlingly misogynistic advice on offer.

To those with a perverse interest in tone-deaf entertainment, it might be worth a quick look as long you can drag yourself away in time to claim a refund. After all, why give these creeps any of your money?

What are the worst games you've played this year so far? Shout them out in the comments!
