10 Worst Games Of 2018 (So Far)
4. Bravo Team
Supermassive Games are 0-2 this year with their releases, and it's likely no coincidence that both of them are low-effort VR offerings nevertheless asking for AAA dollar.
While The Inpatient was at least a visually appealing misfire, Bravo Team is a far more catastrophic failure and a frankly embarrassing release from such a talented developer.
Failing to function properly as even a basic shooting gallery for the PSVR's Aim controller, this title is derailed by floaty shooting, atrocious locomotion mechanics that jarringly shift the action into a third-person perspective, a nothing story and a boring, repetitive campaign.
It doesn't even tout the basic PVP mode you'd expect and hope for, with players only being able to play co-op with one other human. Eurogamer's deep dive into the game's hellacious development is well worth a read, cementing that Bravo Team was a directionless abomination from the jump.
