10 Worst Games Of 2018 (So Far)
3. MX Vs ATV All Out
All MX vs. ATV All Out had to do in order to be at least a mediocre racing game was deliver the basically functional mechanics you'd expect from any racer released in 2018.
Sadly even that was apparently too much of an ask for this howlingly wonky effort, which effectively feels like an early PS3 game that somehow quantum-leapt onto current-gen platforms.
The visuals are an absolute embarrassment, with decade-old textures, a gross amount of pop-in and a wildly inconsistent frame-rate, while the physics are a joke and players can freely phase through just about any part of the environment they so wish.
Though the jankiness is laughable for a few minutes, the feeling quickly shifts to legitimately exasperation that such a simple concept could be bungled so spectacularly.
