10 Worst Overwatch Characters - Ranked

Backstory: Soldier is certainly fun to play, but his character concept is about as generic as it gets. He does exactly what he says on the tin, he’s a soldier, and he takes every possible opportunity to make sure you’re aware. In a game full of angelic doctors and quadrupedal safety robots, being run of the mill is very bad thing. 3/10

Abilities: Again, they’re not the most imaginative, but they get the job done, if naught else. Having a healing station you can drop on the go is useful, and the rockets he can fire do enough damage to pose legitimate threat. His ult more or less removes aiming from the game entirely. It works for the character, but there are certainly more exciting ults in Overwatch. 7/10

Design: His standard design works, but only as much as it can given the thematic limitations of the character. Skin choice is limited and poor. He has variations of soldier gear, and a daredevil outfit that just doesn’t look that great. 4/10
