10 Worst Overwatch Characters - Ranked

Backstory: Sombra has a fairly typical backstory for a character of her sort, and it’s not massively fleshed out, either. If we knew more about her, I’m sure there would be more to like, but as is, there’s not really much substance. 3/10

Abilities: Conceptually, Sombra’s abilities are fantastic. In practice, they lack any real impact. She can hack health packs, stopping enemies using them, and she can hack enemies, disabling certain abilities. It doesn’t stop them turning around and shooting you in the face though.

She can go invisible, and teleport, but there’s not much use to that without another strong ability to pair up with them. Her ult is just her hacking ability on a larger scale. It can perhaps secure a couple of kills, but it’s not going to win a game on its own. 2/10

Design: Sombra’s design is perhaps her only saving grace, whilst her abilities are less of a death knell and more of a minor annoyance, Sombra is beautifully visually pleasing. The blue and purple ombre colour scheme screams “technology” in the best possible way.

Her variety of skins leave a lot to be desired, though. 7/10
