10 Worst Overwatch Characters - Ranked

Backstory: As with certain other characters in the game, reaper is as bit of a caricature. That would be fine, if he were actually interesting. I struggle to find one thing I genuinely like about him. He’s supposed to be this scary, master killer, but he ends up coming off about as edgy as a sphere. 2/10

Abilities: You would hope that Reaper would possess some fairly deadly abilities, but bar his ult, he’s really quite underwhelming. He can enter wraith form, allowing him to move around whilst being immune to damage for a short period of time, and he can also use what seems like the world’s slowest teleport, that even telegraphs exactly what you’re doing to any enemies nearby.

Death Blossom allows him to quickly dispatch all nearby enemies, providing he’s not shot mid-animation. 3/10

Design: Reaper isn’t awfully designed, nor is he a mess, but there’s a whole lot of black and not a lot of anything else. His grim reaper-style attire does the job, but it borders on looking like a teenager with a bad attitude. His legendary skins are really quite nice though, so that saves him from being a complete flop. 5/10
