10 Worst PS4 Games So Far
5. Thief
In 2014, there were some pretty early indications that all was not as it seemed with the new generation of consoles, as before Watch Dogs confirmed our suspicions, Thief was the first major hope-shatterer that landed, delivering on absolutely none of its promise.
With incredibly boring environments, a gruff-for-the-sake-of-it leading man in Garrett and some first-person stealth that didn't feel tactile enough to even approach the realms of being enjoyable, everything felt immediately cobbled together and stale.
Even worse for the franchise was Arkane Studios' out-of-nowhere hit Dishonoured doing everything Thief was offering, as its core appeal as well as a huge number of innovations that easily made it the go-to choice instead.
