10 Worst Triple-A Games Of The Decade (So Far)
2. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
Who among us didn't see this coming?
The writing was firmly on the wall pre-release that Batman: Arkham developers Rocksteady had been strong-armed into making this glossy slice of Live Service Slop, and indeed, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League duly lived down to expectations.
Outside of its undeniably well-produced cutscenes, Kill the Justice League is spectral husk of a AAA live service blockbuster in desperate pursuit of a soul.
Even if the looter-shooter gameplay were innately fun, which it isn't, the brutal lack of launch content meant that even casual players burned through everything worthwhile the game had to offer in a weekend or two.
Production values aside, it's difficult to fathom how a game with so little content and such a dull emphasis on repetition could cost $200 million to make.
The result is one of the biggest AAA IP calamities of not just the past decade, but ever.
