10 Worst Video Game Launches EVER
8. Umbrella Corps
For a while now, Capcom has been trying to shift the Resident Evil franchise over into the realm of multiplayer, but in what feels like a last-minute half arsed sort of way. Like someone handing in their assignments at the last minute, these side offerings never feel fleshed out.
Of them all though, Umbrella Corps is certainly the biggest culprit, thanks to it being overshadowed by a certainly little game, Resident Evil 7 Biohazard.
After being announced so close to one and other, literally nobody seemed to care about Umbrella Corps. Even Capcom.
Though it wasn't just how much the wider public didn't care about this one until it launched. Thanks to the numbers on Steam, we can see that in the first week the all-time peak player base was 428 in 24 hours. The game never got any higher than this, in fact, it slowly fell to the point even the A.I Zombies have buggered off.
No wonder Capcom didn't want to attach Resident Evil to the title of this one.
