10 Worst Video Game Launches EVER

3. Fallout 76

It is very well known at this point that pretty much every Bethesda game launches with bugs - some more so than others and some that never get properly fixed. Like Skyrim on PlayStation 3, which is still busted in some form or another to this day.

Maybe there's a reason Bethesda decided to sell to Xbox after all?

But their last major game to be released before the $7.5 billion buyout was none other than Fallout 76, which might honestly be the most broken game from Bethesda yet. More like an MMO than a single-player role-playing game, Fallout 76 was a barren world with no NPCs to speak of. There were robots and some computer terminals, but that's all.

Now, in the lore this made sense, with Vault 76 being one of the first to open after the bombs dropped, but it was a shame Vault-Tec didn't keep things sealed until the bugs were fixed. Even if players could get online into a world, they had to contend with that. And it also didn't help that this was the largest Fallout map constructed, which made the game feel a whole lot more empty.

NPCs were eventually added and some of the bugs ironed out, but even on GamePass, this one still requires, ahem, dedication to extract the fun.
